SOPHIE ON WELLNESS was created by Sophie Ndaba who is an Actress ,Mother , Businesswoman ,Philanthropist and Diabetes and Wellness Advocate. Sophie uses SOW as a awareness platform to enlighten those who take their overall wellness for granted. Having lived a life on the fast lane, being an actress and event planner for more than 3 decades, Sophie knows the lifestyle dangers of very little rest, lack of exercise and unhealthy eating habits can cause. Sophie lives with type 2 Diabetes for more than a decade and believes the only way to long life, is to livewell! Both Mind and body. Having reached a point where she almost lost her life to Diabetes and hypertension, she knows all so well
that prevention is better than cure!

Dr Valencia Vincentia Simmons is a medical doctor and clinical manager at a tertiary hospital – Job Shimankana Tabane hospital. She is also provincial Chairperson BMF Youth Professionals NW (2020-2023) and previous board board member KT-hospital complex (2017-2021) as well as prior Chairperson – Youth Initiative forum KT-hospital complex (2017-2021)

Paloma is a dedicated dietitian, passionate about nutrition and nutrition education, I possess an array of skills in clinical research, counselling, project development and team building.

I am self-motivated and confident with a passion for people. I have also contributed to product development.

Busisiwe Mzandolo

Busisiwe Mzandolo

Busisiwe Mzandolo is a Registered Social worker who is in Private Therapist contracted to most medical aids and is affiliated with EAP Wellness companies in SA. She registered her Practice in 2016 with the Board of Health Care Funders and completed her social work degree at NMMU in 2012.

She is a Motivational speaker, Mentor, Life Coach, and a Mental health activist. She specializes in Grief and Loss, Trauma Debriefing, Depression and Stress counselling, Substance abuse and Gender Based Violence. She is the Founder and Director of Health Culture Consulting (Pty, LTD) and trading as Busie TheTherapist and Director of Akuwe Amandla NPO.
